The censustaker threw them a curve. It looks like the censustaker filled in his sheets with info. on the people, then went back and numbered his pages later. He numbered the 3 pages for the Village of Jacksonville in Meigs Twp. p. 37-39 and threw them in the middle of the HAMILTON family, which spanned 2 pages. As a result, all the HAMILTON children on the second page were indexed by Ancestry (and familysearch.org) as being in the last household in the Village of Jacksonville. That also explains why the household numbers are all messed up and don't follow along consecutively. Ancestry actually has moved the page images around so the HAMILTON family is together and the 3 Village of Jacksonville pages are separate. That's why the page numbers jump from p. 36 where the HAMILTON parents are to p. 40 where their 6 youngest children are. Ancestry hasn't corrected its index though. The index has Angeline and 5 of her siblings in the Eliza Lewis household in the Village of Jacksonville.
