He was preceded in death by his parents and younger brother, Edward Whitt Jr. He had no family of his own, but had several nieces and nephews. He is survived by sisters: Mrs. Janice Meshefski of Sabina, Ohio; Mrs. Ellen Warren and husband, Ron of Springfield, Ohio; and Mrs. Judy Smith of South Solan, Ohio; one brother, Larry Whitt and his wife, Linda of Hillsboro, Ohio; and one sister-in-law, Vicki Whitt and her daughters of El Paso, Texas. After relocating from Ohio to El Paso, Mr. Whitt retired after many years of employment with the City of El Paso. Mr. Whitt was a long time member of the Moose Lodge. He also served in the Army Reserve during the 1950. Visitation will be held from 11am- 1pm Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast.
