    3. Bob, Manchester is not really in a township, but it often called Manchester township. Sprigg township is to the west and north of Manchester and Manchester township & Monroe township is east of Sprigg and Manchester townships Manchester is on the Ohio River. By the way, Manchester is NOT in Sprigg Township. At 10:05 PM 9/22/99 EDT, you wrote: >Somebody took your township map! Can somebody tell me what township >Manchester is in? 2. Denise, You might try the URLs below. I didn't find the Aaerl Cemetery you were asking about, but I may have overlooked it. Also, I notice that some of the area codes listed for Ohio are still 513, but I know some of the Adams Co. and Clark Co., area code is now 937.......Hope this helps. GOD BLESS YOUR SEARCH. My connection... dau Margaret Ann Cox who mar Abner McMahan - believe there were 4 daughters in the family - Margaret 1827, Mary 1824 (mar J. Wilson), Elizabeth 1833 (mar Foster Jones), and Eliza 1810? (mar James Adams). I've had no luck with anything new here. 3. Paula, I understand that you are trying to find the burial place of your great grandmother, Louella DEMINT, and you feel that she is in the IOOF Cemetery in Manchester. I do know that the Wilson Funeral Home in Manchester does not keep historical records, because I tried to find a person through them. Have you check the Cemetery Inscriptions at the Genealogy Society? They have excellant records. Also, have you tried to find her death certificate at the Adams Co. Health Dept. You can do research there on Thursdays which is the same day as the genealogy society is open. Good luck on you research. 2. Carleene Roe
    3. Paula, I am not sure who you were writing to. If me (think I am the only one researching William Smith Dement) I have the following. James M. Dement (1790-1869) married Mary (Polly) Ellison daughter of Arthur Ellison and Sarah (Sally) (Smith) Ellison. James and Mary (Polly) married in Adams Co., Ohio 12, January 1815 by John Ellison. Their second child and first son was named William Smith Dement. The middle name Smith was his maternal grandmother's maiden name. If you find that your ancestor William Dement was the son of Andrew and Hannah Dement---let me know because I have all of that family group. Your (?) Andrew would be the younger brother of my William Smith Dement. Carleene Carleene (Olds) Roe Kettering, Ohio CARLEENEROE@prodigy.net
