I've never seen Carl Thompson's Adams Co History, but I have worn the covers loose on his Brown Co History. It is partially indexed. Several sections were reprinted from county records that were already in abc order,and they were not indexed. That group alone might be 25% of the total names in the book. Evans and Stiver's "History of Adams Co,Oh" reprint edition is partially indexed-maybe [?] 50 %. Original 1900 edition 1 % indexed.
