All, Yesterday I posted a message on Roots Web. The format did not come through correctly to this forum. I do not know why, unless it was because I had the text formatted for a direct link. Here it is again, plain vanilla style: The Latter Day Saints' ( Mormons') website is: www.familysearch.org There is a link to their family history centers there. They also have their entire catalog online there, so it is a very useful site. You can decide what films you want to order before you get to their family history center, which saves you some time. Or you can go directly to their library locator at: http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Library/FHC/frameset_fhc.asp or you can go directly to their catalog at: http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Library/FHLC/frameset_fhlc.asp Regards, JAN

Would you have a tax listing for William Adams for the year 1855 to 1867 in Scott Township? After William died, it may have been listed in his wife's name, Lucy Adams, Scott Township or Meigs Township? Wm. & Lucy are my Gr. Gr. Grandparents, moving from Bath Co., Ky to Adams Co., Ohio around early 1850's. (1851). Wm. died 5-1-1867 & Lucy died 1-19-1886 & both are buried at Tranquility Cemetery. Thanks, Sharon Karns

About a year after I started I discovered a LDS library about 15 minutes from my house. Well I got myself together to go and called for the right times to go and they had moved the week befor. So at this time there is not one close enough for me to run on over when ever...... No I don't have any Carsons on my tree. Mostly just the ones I listed. Brenda

My primary interest in the Carson line is Michael and Hannah Carson. A lot of the info I have on them is rather thin, and I don't really know anything of where either of them came from. Are either of you researching his family, and if so, what have you found?
