Hi, Many Adams Co. records were lost in a court house fire in 1910. The FHL has microfilmed deaths from 1888-1893 so the year you need may not be available. The Ohio Historical Society has many newspapers on microfilm and they are available for inter-library loan. http://dbs.ohiohistory.org/newspaper/home.cfm Yolanda Campbell Lifter Malabar, FL [email protected] http://www.ohiofamilyresearch.com My Surnames of Ohio (SE and SW Counties): ALLEN* BEASLEY*BLY* BOLENDER*BOWEN*BULL*BURNSIDE*CAMPBELL* CLARK*DAFT*DIXON* DUNHAM*GROW*HAFER*HARTLEY*HUMBLE*McCORMICK* PETTYJOHN*ROBERTS*SHINKLE* STOOPS* WISBY*ZUCK One Name Study of STOOPS in Ohio ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, October 13, 2003 1:47 PM Subject: [OHADAMS] Cost of Obituary/Adams County Ohio > > I would like to know the cost to get a Death Certificate from Adams County, I have tried to call the Adams County Probate Department and they don't answer the phone.
