From the Ohio State Journal, dated Monday September 6, 1886: PAROLED PRISONERS The Penitentiary Managers Release Seven More --Close of the September Session The board of penitentiary managers concluded the business of their September meeting last Saturday by attending to a few matters of a routine nature and granting seven paroles. Steward STILES was directed to send circulars to dealers, asking for prices before making purchases; and the salary of Secretary JENKINS was raised from $1200 to $1500 and that of Dr. NORRIS, assistant physician, increased $10 per month. ANDREW BATTS and GEORGE BLYLE, serving indeterminate sentences from MONTGOMERY COUNTY, and FRANK ROBINSON, serving the same from PICKAWAY COUNTY, were ordered released. The following are the prisoners paroled: PHILIP WAGONER, received from LAWRENCE COUNTY December 6, 1880, for ten years. GEORGE ALLBRED, received July 1, 1882, from HAMILTON COUNTY for seven years. PETER DORNBERKER, received October 8, 1884, from HAMILTON COUNTY for ten years. MORRIS HOLLY, received February 5, 1884, from HARDIN COUNTY for seven years. CHRISTIAN STANCH, received June 12, 1885, from LICKING COUNTY for two years. ALEXANDER McKUSIC, received December 22, 1880, from STARK COUNTY for nineteen years.
