She was converted to God when about six years of age, grew up year by year more abundant in the Christian graces and more symmetrical in her religious character. Last winter, during the special services, she took a firmer hold on Christ as her Savior, testified that she received a large increase of grace and a richer experience in the things of God. She became verry willing to bear witness to God's converting power, and her voice was often heard in prayer for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. She was very faithful in attendance at Sunday school and church, and during a protracted illness of nine weeks, and great suffering, was patient and resigned to the will of Providence. She has gone to a Christian's home. This is the seventh child these bereft parents have seen laid in the tomb, only one remaining to them, a married daughter residing in Kansas. The funeral services were held in the M. E. church, with a very large congregation in attendance, after which the remains were laid in the vault in Marion cemetery. A. C.
