Miss Sadie Meredith and Mrs. W. T. Penry were Richwood visitors, Tuesday. Mrs. Rodman and daughter Mayme, were in Delaware, Tuesday. The Memorial services next Sunday at the Town Hall. Dr. Hawn preaches. Mrs. Thomas Watkins is quite ill. Miss Cecil McNight visited Radnor friends, last week. J. T. Lodwig, Ray Watkins, Owen Jones, Charley Davis, and Dan Meridith were appointed at the Radnor caucus to attend the republican convention at Delaware last Saturday. Jay Roberts is clerking for J. W. Thomas. Measles patients are recovering. The M. E. church will hold a ten day meeting, begining Thursday. G. T. Wolfley is given his house a general repairing. Miss Winifred James, of Richwood, was calling on Radnor friends, Sunday. RICHLAND Mrs. Samuel Lightner, Mr. John Anderson and Mr. Irvin Sheets, took dinner with Mr. Thomas Headly, last Sunday, and report Tom as being a first class cook and entertainer. Forest Anderson was in Prospect Saturday evening. Mrs. James Gallant is still ill. Miss Nancy Hinderlong spent Sunday with her sister, Mrs. Anderson. Charley Hinderlong of Morrow county spent Saturday and Sunday with Radnor friends. Rev. Barny? George preached at the Baptist church, last Sunday morning. He and his wife took dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Mack Roberts. Miss Govern O. Jones is sick at this writing with measles. Mrs. William Anderson was in Prospect Saturday. Thomas Griffith is driving hack for Mrs. Anna Darst of Richwood. BRUSH COLLEGE. Miss Dickerson closed her school last Friday. Mr. and Mrs. H. D. Wilson spent Sunday with J. H. Thibaut and family. Mr. and Mrs. C. Isler spent Sunday with R. R. Davids and family. Philip Hecker of Ada, Ohio, spent Saturday and Sunday with his parents. John Walker was driving north Sunday. Whats the attraction John. J. H. Thibaut received a new Star wind mill, of Thibaut Bros., of Marion. Wm. Cox and company, are busy making tile. G. W. Stiffler attended the republican convention at Marion, Saturday. George Thibaut made a business trip to Prospect Saturday night. Sam Lichtenberger sold a load of hogs they averaged 400 pounds apiece. Bill Spicer raised the barn for Mr. Pfleider, after the raising light refreshments were served, a song by John Oswald and remarks followed by Jake Pfleider. Carl Thibaut was seen in Prospect Sunday night. Bill Smeltzer sold a horse to Mr. Christ of Richland township. Tom S. Roberts barn is completed. ON THE LINE. Mrs. Wm. Russel and daughter were guests of her parents, Saturday. Charles Howison and wife spent Sunday with relatives south of town. E. Parish and Lena Sivey, of Marion, spent Sunday with W. E. Boyd and wife. Agnes Dill was the guest of her grandma, Sunday. Wm. Griffith and his workmen began W. J. Fitts barn this week. Samuel Graham lost a valuable horse last week. Dogs got into the sheep of J. M. Adams and T. A. Hawk, crippling 12 of the flock. Obituary John German was born February 20, 1828, at Landanau Hesse Damstadt, Germany. In the year 1854 he came to America and located first in Marion township, several years later removed to Waldo township, Marion county, where he settled permanently. In 1856 he was married to Barbara Rentchler which union there was born five children, one of which died in infancy. On 27 October, 1903, Mr. German suffered a stroke of paralysis effecting his wholoe left side and leaving him in a helpless state, requiring constant care and attention for him, these 18 months of suffering were but a time of preperation for the most blessed eternity, which was to follow. Fully prepared he departed this life, Sunday afternoon, May 21, 1905, leaving a wife, one son, three daughters, eleven grand children and four great-grand children, to mourn him. Mrs. Mollie Thomas Obituary Mary J. Guthrie was born in Delaware Ohio, January 2, 1858. She died May 13, 1905, aged 47 years, 4 months and 11 days. She moved with her parents, when quite young, to Richwood, Ohio, where she lived until her marriage to Dr. C. M. Thomas, July 14, 1880, removing with her husband at this time to Prospect, where she has since lived. Mrs. Thomas possessed a host of friends, who thoroughly appreciated her excellent traits of character. She was a devoted christian and member of the M. E. church since childhood.
