Bellomy, who had been desperately sick for two weeks since she was stricken with paralysis, died at her home on south Penn ave. Saturday afternoon at shortly before 4 o'clock. she was 73 years old. Her health had been failing for several months. Mrs. Bellomy was Carrie Bellomy before her marriage, her family name being the same as her husbands. She was born in Wayne county, W. Va., on May 13, 1860. Fiftythree years ago the Bellomy were married and their home life has been ideal since. The Bellomy family came to Wellston 42 years ago, and here their children have been reared. She leaves besides her husband, the following sons and one daughter; Ellsworth Bellomy, superintendent of distribution in the city water department; Delbert Bellomy, a pharmacist, of the Palace drug store; Lawrence Bellomy at Morris, Ill.; and Mrs Oscar Cecil at Van Lear, Ky. One son Charles is dead. She is survived by one brother, Daniel Bellomy of Huntington, W. Va., last of the family of C.C. and Nancy Snow Bellomy. The funeral was held at the Bellomy home on Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock by Rev. O. L. Hall of the Methodist church of which Mrs. Bellomy was a member. She also belonged to Pocahontas Lodge.
