Mr Johnson said: Stallings has utterly failed in his accusations against Chase. He has tried to besmirch the character of a sterling player. Anybody who knows Hal Chase knows that he is not guilty of the accusations made against him and I am happy to say that the evidence of the New York players given Vice President Somers this morning showed Stallings up. The official decision will be issued tomorrow or Sunday by Mr Farrell. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ IMPORTANT: To stop receiving these notifications, you need to know if you are receiving them through a mailing list or if you subscribed through the Newspaper Abstracts website.
