Article Text: Columbus, O., May 18.--Mrs. Grace SMITH, aged 20, wife of Frank SMITH, drank carbolic acid about 1 o'clock in the morning, in an effort at suicide because of domestic trouble. The woman was taken to St. Francis' Hospital by the police and is expected to recover. She drank the poison in the presence of several neighbors, who were the guests of herself and her husband at the SMITH home. Mrs. Sadie MARLOW, aged 26, hanged herself to a doorknob at her residence and was found in an unconscious condition by her husband. She was hurried to St. Francis' Hospital, where she was revived and will recover.
