The ceremony will be solemnized by Rev F E Hawes, of Mesa, Arizona, former pastor of Fite Memorial Baptist church of this city. The party was given in honor of the eighteenth birthday of Miss Schoonover. the evening was passed with games and Troy Schoonover, accompanied on the piano by Mrs A G Annette and Miss Ada Schoonover, entertained with several numbers on the trap drums. the guests included Rev and Mrs A C Annette, Miss Mary Annette of Chicago Mrs Ellis Middleton of Broadway Mr and Mrs F J Sanderson and children, Frances, Juanita and Winifred Mr and Mrs T H Schoonover Mrs Edward McWilliams and children, Helen and Frances Misses Dorothy Gow, Gladys Goode, Marie Harper, Geneva and Genevieve Johnston, Glenna Wolfe, Pauline Regan, Irene Seigfried, Nadine McMahan, Lucretia Schoonover, Messrs Virgil Curl, George Stabler, Calvin Bristley, Gerald Graham and Charles Alexander. Mr and Mrs G G Miller of DeCliff, entertained a number of relatives and friends at dinner Monday in honor of their guests, Mr and Mrs William Burley, Miss Inez Burley, Lowell Burley and Fred Sager, of St Louis. Covers wre placed for the honor guests and Mr and Mrs Edison Schultz and Thomas Cole of Marion; Mrs Edgar Spangler, of Meeker, and Mr and Mrs Frank Montgomery and children, Jean and Frances of De Cliff. Mrs E R Lawrence and Mrs George Gill received the honors at cards at the meeting of the members of the Avesta club, held Tuesday afternoon at the home of Mrs E L Schiller, of Henry Street. Mrs David Hintz was consoled. Mr and Mrs John Higgins, of Mound street, entertained with a dinner Tuesday evening in honor of Mrs B F Davis, of Pittsburgh.
