Mrs. Will Grell of Waldo was a Prospect visitor Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Cratty and grandchildren, Ada and Freddie Isler, were guests of relatives at Marion Wednesday. There is a nice display of painted china, by Miss Antoinette Cox in Stockwell’s window. Miss Cox is at present taking a course of study at Pratts Institute in Brooklyn New York Miss Lillian Henry of Columbus is at home for a short visit. Miss Blanche Henry, who has been very ill for the past three weeks with pneumonia is improving. Mr. and Mrs. P. M. Gast were guests of Dr. and Mrs. D. B. Osborn at Waldo Sunday. Reuben Crum was called to Columbus Tuesday on account of the serious illness of his brother, Charley Crum. Mr. Sim Blue wishes to inform those having business with him to call him over either telephone. Jake Kline is now ready to do butchering of all kinds at his home or away. Mrs. Shaw of Richwood visited with Mrs. Charley Davis last week. Mrs. George Camm of Prospect spent one day of last week with Mrs. William Thomas. W. T. Griffith is papering for C. R. Jones this week. Mr. William Evans has purchased the Louie Lauer farm and will move there soon. ON THE LINE M. F. Hough, Ed. Kagay and Peyton Welsh left Monday evening for Lawton Okahoma. Mr. Hough expects to remain if the country suits him. Thomas Jones who has bee living south of town moved his family to Prospect Wednesday. J. W. Gast is in very poor health. Joseph Graham still continues in poor health. Mrs. J. W. Fitts and daughter Mina are suffering from grippe. W. E. Boyd spent Thursday in Marion on business. ROUNDABOUTS The Cook Motor Company of Delaware, manufacturers of gas and gasoline engines have increased their capital stock from $15,000 to $25,000 and all stock has been sold. Roy Chapman of the Marion police force, who has many friends in Prospect, has been ill with typhoid fever at the Marion Hospital but was able this week to be moved to his home. Mrs. James Harsh and son of Delaware County are spending the holidays with relatives at Chicago. Albert Mohr, formerly of Prospect, suffered a slight attack of heart trouble at Marion Friday but nothing serious has since developed. Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Jones sold, Saturday, to Jacob W. Wengard 120 acres of land in Montgomery township for $9009. Modern Woodman. The Prospect Modern Woodman Monday installed the following officers, the installation being followed by a social session and banquet. V. C., T. J. Court; W. A., P. M. Gast; clerk, A. E. Surprise Party Miss Mary Hughes was delightfully surprised by a number of friends Friday evening in honor of her eighteenth birthday anniversary. During the evening refreshments were served and Miss Hughes received several handsome presents. The guests were the Misses Grace Campbell, Lena Davids, Zaye Johnson, Messers Samuel Lauer, John Davids, Ray and Roy Pace and Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Herr. Delaware Circuit Court Delaware Circuit Court convened Tuesday with Judges Maurice H. Donohue, of New Lexington; Thomas F.
