[sepdsign003blkc.gif] GUARD BARRY HOME Police Protect Director's House After His Life is Threatened By Citizen State Wire Cleveland, O., Nov. 11 -- Police guard was to be thrown about the home of Safety Director Edwin D. BARRY today as the result of a threat against his life Thursday in the council chamber at City Hall. Police arrested a man who is said to have declared he would stab BARRY. The threat came after the safety director had ordered a group of men, who had marched from Public Square to leave City Hall. He is in a local hospital. [sepdsign003blkc.gif] WOUND PROVES FATAL Clifford ATWOOD, 26, of Hamden, near Portsmouth, died at White Cross Hospital Thursday from bullet wounds suffered Sunday. Members of the family said ATWOOD accidentally shot himself.
