Article Text: Canton, Ohio, Nov. 7.--The case of the State vs. Dr. J. H. SIDDELL, was called in the Court of Common Please to-day. SIDDELL is charged with the murder of Mat MCCLURE, a government gauger, SIDDELL and MCCLURE, being on terms of enmity, had a hostile meeting in the Ogden house last February, wherein MCCLURE was badly injured, and died a few days afterward, defendant claims, of heart disease. Both parties were most respectable citizens. The case creates great interest.
