He m. Sarah McDonald 9/2/1830 and later m. Margaret Stonaker. He and Sarah had a son James W. Alexander b. 2/23/1833 in Miami Co. James m. Julia Rumsey on 11/1/1860. She was d/o James Barlow & Mary (Dalzell)Rumsey of Piqua, Miami Co, OH. James and Julia began their family in Mimai Co. before moving on to Elk Co, KS, where they are both buried. I have been unable to locate information on Joab or Sarah (McDonald) Alexander, but would be very interested in sharing what I have with anyone interested. Thanks.
