I'm trying to find more information, descendants and ancesters for these people. Here's what I know and my theories. I'm trying to prove or disprove the following. Is anyone else researching these folks?? John BOYLES married Jane OVERLY in 1843, Mercer Co. & had following children: Mary E. b.ca 1843, who may have married Hiram BAKER Jemina b.ca 1847 Jennie b.ca 1847 who died of poison in 1893 John L. b.8-17-1850 m. Elizabeth JONES b. ca 1851 Miami Co. OH d/o William S. JONES and Nancy WEBB Martha b.ca 1852 m. John ALSPAUGH b. 3-1852 Jacob b.ca 1860 Martha & Jacob BOYLES are living with Hiram BAKER & Mary E.(assuming this might be Mary Boyles) in Noble Twp, Auglaize Co on the 1870 census. I believe Jane may have died after the children were born, John BOYLES served in the Civil War (4 yrs) and may have remarried before he went to war or after and the children were scattered around amongst relatives perhaps or were old enough to leave home. A Mary BOYLES filled for his pension as a widow from Indiana and George LIMBERT filed as guardian of minors. I have sent for his pension records and will be happy to share what I find with other descendants. His son John L. BOYLES lived in Troy, ran the City Hotel for a few years, moved to Dayton about 1910. Can anyone help me prove or disprove my theory? Any help is greatly appreciated. Lin
