I believe my great-great-great grandfather is Humphrey Sloan, born and married in Scotland, but I'm not sure if his wife was Charlotte. Humphrey fathered Homer, who fathered Kenneth, who fathered my dad, James Richard, all from Iowa. Perhaps Victoria and Homer are brother and sister.
