My family said they were Dutch and the name had been Jonson or Jansen at one time. I've always thought Samuel and Rebecca were from Frederick Co., Md., but haven't been able to prove it. There is a Martha M. Johnson buried next to them, that nobody knows when or who she is. There is a family sheet in Elkhart that has a water mark from a book store in Baltimore, which I have been given, that I have to go get. Will also contact you by e-mail. Cheers, Leroy
