Surnames: Rich Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/RWB.2ACE/414 Message Board Post: My great grandfather James Rich lived in Shelby County, but apparently died and was buried in Miami County at almost the same time as one of his grandsons (both in 1911). He does not show up on the 1910 federal census in either Miami County or Shelby County. Was there a military hospital or retirement home in Miami county back in 1911? He was a poor man who had been in bad health for over 20 years by the time he died. Any ideas where I could look for records?
