I'm trying to find out if Willis Hance b. abt. 1798 in KY is the father of Mary Hance. Willis was a resident of Miami Co. OH when he applied for land patents in IN in 1835 and 1835.  Mary Hance married Clark McColly in Miami Co. OH.  In 1850 they are all in Delaware Co. IN.  According to the 1850 census Clark and Mary are living  one residence from Joseph Hance and nine from Ambrose Hance, both sons of Willis Hance according to the file at Family Search.  Any help would be appreciated.
