My grandmothers mother was Margaret (Maggie) Genslinger.My grandmother was also raised by her Genslinger Aunts and Uncles.There were a lot of Genslingers.I still don't have it sorted out.They were a very large family and then with all there husbands and wifes it gets very confusing. If you ever get to Piqua and Troy Ohio Piqua Library and Hayner Center in Troy have a lot of information on the Genslingers. Steven was a very prominent citizen in Troy and Piqua.If anyone is interested I have a wonderful 1880 History of Miami County Ohio(biobraphy of Stephen Genslinger)and also in the first century of Piqua an article written about Stephen and a poem written in his honor.Called "The Last Alarm" He is buried in Forest Hill Cemetery,Piqua,Ohio which Forest Hill has there records on line.Another goo! d site is TDN-NET You will find a lot of information on the Genslingers.Please share any information you might have.
