Mrs. BEARD was born in Miami County and had lived near Troy all of her life with the exception of the last two years which were spent in the home of the son in Springfield. She was the widow of Hiram BEARD, who died two years ago. In addition to her son, she is survived by four grandchildren. The body was removed to the Irvin funeral home in Troy for services at 10 a. m. Thursday. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy.
