I have a James P. COONEY who married into the family. He married Catherine Callahan . Let me know if you connect to him in your search. I also have my husband's g,g,grandmother, Anna June BURNS born 1851 in Canada, daughter of Patrick BURNS and unknown mother (from her death certificate). She married John MCKENNA on July 5, 1867. They lived on Mulberry in the angle. I have not been able to find any record of her father or any siblings. In your searching for BURNS have you come across this family?
