I recently found an index to Cuyahoga County birth records online. It seems to contain birth records for 1881-1884 and 1887-1889 and death records from the Index to Probate Court Records, 1867-1890. I found death records for 5 of my relatives and was able to email the information to the folks at the Cuyahoga County Archives and they are sending me the death records. These researchers at the County Archives answered me promptly and they didn't even demand my money up front!
