    1. 1930 Census
    2. I did not find my gr-father's name nor my father's name on the 1930 census. Samuel McBride was nonexistent and there was a Frederick who lived on the West side and was a child. I did remember that the STEWART family my gr-father's sister lived around the corner. So looked up their name and was able by flipping the pages back to find my street in the Bronx, NY. It was great finding them and I also looked up another family name Donovan and found them. So good luck it is fun. But, does anyone know why the columns are not similar to the 1920 census. Are reading the columns and sometimes the street names is difficult. Some of the census are lopsided or almost impossible to read even with a magnifying glass.
