Janet, The interesting thing about Catholics, is that everything on you regarding Sacraments is carried by the Parish you were baptized in.... For example you were baptized at St Patricks on Bridge in Cleveland, later made your First Confession then Holy Communion at Our Lady of Angels, then were Confirmed at Annunciation, and married at Holy Rosary, and then Divorced, finally you die, and were buried from St. Richard's in North Olmsted, no matter where you received the Sacraments, all documentation is entered on the Records in the Church you were baptized in.... ( In our example St Patricks on Bridge would be the place to contact for all the above information) For this reason, that is why when Catholics receive any of the Sacraments, it is always asked where you were Baptized.... Hope this helps. Also in the early days of Cleveland, the families went to the Parish of their Ethnic Background, would travel miles past the closest German church to go to the Irish Catholic Church... Sharon
