    3. Hi Susan, I can't answer your question but I was wondering whether we have communicated concerning our ward line. My great-grandparents, Michael Ward ( approx. b. 1840) and Catherine Carr were from Donegal and my grandfather John (1866) was born in Leagans, County Donegal. He emigrated to U.S. along with his older brother Patrick. In addition, there were at least 3 other siblings: Mary, Bernard and Michael. Don't know if those three emigrated. If you have any other info I would appreciate it. By the way, John and Patrick both ended up in Newburgh - Holy Name Church. Thanks and good luck Tom Ward Mentor, Ohio ---------- > From: [email protected] > To: [email protected] > Subject: Re: OH-CLEVELAND-IRISH-D Digest V01 #10 > Date: Sunday, February 18, 2001 7:17 PM > > Hello I am new to this list, Does Ireland have any searchable records online. > Like Ohio has death records > Thanks > > Thank you > > Susan Ward > HAPPY HUNTING! > SEARCHING --------- > WARD, RETTBERG, MICHEL, CHRISTENSON, BEUCUS > >

    3. Hi Tom, I saw your post regarding the name Ward. I have these names in my line; Vesey/Veasey, Ward, Cruise, Hardogon/Hardiman, Higgins, McDonald. There are several more names..would have to dig them out. But, some of the Wards came to California..that's where I am.The above were from Roscommon, Athlone...and I believe the Hardiman name originated in Galway, Ireland. The Vesey's came to Dane Co. Wi. and are buried there. Thank you.
