The Hibernian Guards "were an independent military company made up of Irish-American volunteers. . . . By 1861, the Hibernian Guards numbered 49 men and muskets. . . . were mustered into for 3-year stints as Co. B in the 8th Regiment of the Ohio Volunteer Army. The company saw action in such battles as Antietam and Gettsburg before its orignal members were mustered out of service on 13 July 1864." per The Encycopedia of Cleveland History. Would anyone know of a list of members for the Hibernian Guards? Ingrid Abram
