To the gal who's mother has cancer and has undergone surgery. A year ago, I too was diagnosed with cancer. I had a biopsy on June 7; surgery for the malignant area on June 24. I underwent radiation therapy treatments from early in August to the last of September. In March of this year, I had a follow-up x-ray. Everything is as clear as a bell. Your mother may live for many years. Don't give up on her yet; make sure she has a positive attitude. That's what got me through the ordeal. A positive outlook and a great family, and many supporting friends and acquaintances. There were many people online who bolstered my spirits during the whole period, and still do, even though they have never met me. God bless you and your mother.
