Hi List I was going thru the info my aunt sent be a while back ago and she said that her gr grandmother (James Corrigan's mother) married twice; one of her names was McCafferty. Then I was checking out the queries on http://genforum.genealogy.com/cgi-bin/pageload.cgi?ohio,corrigan::corrigan::77.html and found this query. I tried to get a hold of the guy but it came back undeliverable. This is the query: Posted by John J. Corrigan III dated 21 Jun 98: "I'm trying to find out more about my family tree. Can you help? This is what I know: My great great grandfather was Thomas Corrigan and he married Catherine McTighe. They were from Saula Achill Sound in County Mayo, Ireland. Their children were Andrew, James Thomas (1856-1919), Catherine, ???. My great grandfather was James Thomas Corrigan who married Anna McCafferky (McCafferty). They arrived in the United States 5-23-1888 and settled in Cleveland, Ohio. Their children were John Joseph, Thomas J., Mary, Andrew J., James P., Loretta, and Hugh Leo. My grandfather, John Joseph, married Mary Elizabeth Willison 11-26-1914. Their children were Mary Margaret, John Joseph, Loretta Francis, Robert Willison, Eileen Virginia, and Rose Kathlyn. They came from Cleveland, Ohio to California around the late 1930's or early 1940's. John Joseph owned a bar in Los Angeles called "J.J.'s". If anyone can help me link my family line with other Corrigans in the U.S. and in Ireland please let me know." Well that was the query. The name I bolded could be my gr grandfather.
