    2. Susan, The Western Reserve Historical Society is not the same thing as Case Western Reserve University. If your Uncle was a professor at the college, perhaps the college library would have a copy of the book or information about him. Generally, you need to go to the Western Reserve Historical Society in person. You pay to go in and pay 25 cents a page for copies. They are always very busy it seems. When you are there, they are very helpful in helping to locate records. They helped me locate civil war records when all I had was a name and a rumor that he served in the civil war. I was able to get lots of papers from the National Archives that verified all the information with their help. Case Western Reserve University has a web site. I would contact them about your Uncle of call the Library 216-368-2302 Lilly Western Reserve is NOT very Genealogy friendly! I am not sure why............Maybe they do not have enough employees. When I started doing research on line about 4 years ago, I even joined with an annual fee. Things were still the same lots of paper work with no results. And they want more money! My Great Uncle was a Professor of Romance there, he wrote many articles and a couple of books. I NEVER was able to obtain information from them. Sooooogood luck:) If you figure out how to get info I would love to know!
