    3. Hi, Has anyone searched for any family records at St. Malachi's (W 25th & Detroit) in Cleveland? My mother's family lived there at the turn of the century and I'm wondering if any baptismal, marriage, etc records exist from that time frame, and if anyone on this forum has searched there. Thanks in advance ! Cliff Fortune Lenexa, KS

    3. You are in luck. There is a pamphlet produced by the Western Reserve Historical Scoiety that does marriages at least. Some listers may own it and do a lookup for you. I do not have it. If no one can help, I can give you the contact info to order one for yourself. They are not expensive. The Cleveland Dioocese does have an Archives that will search this info as well, but they are very hit or miss as to whether you ever hear from them. If they respond, there is a charge for the search. I haved written 3x and been answered once. I can give you their contact info if you want-- for what it's worth. Judith in OH

    3. I have two pamphlets and would be willing to do lookups. The pamphlets are: "St. Malachi Catholic Church, Record of Marriages 1865-1899" and "St. Malachi Catholic Church, Record of Baptismals, 1883-1886". I've had no luck at all with the Cleveland Diocese. I even sent them a donation. ~Janet in N.J. ----- Original Message ----- From: Cliff Fortune <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, March 13, 2001 1:34 AM Subject: St. Malachi's on the near West Side > Hi, > > Has anyone searched for any family records at St. Malachi's (W 25th & > Detroit) in Cleveland? 3. Hi Janet, Thanks very much for the offer. I'm looking for my maternal grandparents, Patrick F. Gibbons who married Anna C. Sheehy. I don't know for sure, but I believe they were married in 1900 or 1901, but I'm not positive. I notice your pamphlet stops in 1899, so I may have just missed, but again I don't know for sure. If you wouldn't mind checking, I'd be very grateful. Thanks in advance, Cliff Fortune Lenexa, KS -----Original Message----- From: Janet [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, March 13, 2001 6:37 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: St. Malachi's on the near West Side I have two pamphlets and would be willing to do lookups.
