Hello Irish Researchers, Speaking of St. Agnes made me think of a story I was told. When St. Joseph’s Church was being built, this would be the one on Woodland; Alexander Sweeney was part of the building team because he had a good set of horses and wagon to haul wood and other supplies. Upon completion of the church there was a stained glass window he supposedly donated and under it was a plaque with his name on it…..so I’m told by his grandson. The church has since burned down and items removed and placed in other churches. I’m wondering if anyone has an older family member who might verify that story or might know where the window went.
