Hi Christina! Would it be possible to check for a boarding house on Case Avenue? I don't know if you can do that since the directories are usually done by name. The names Thorpe, Cuffe, Mahon, or Sweeney might be possibilities. My great-grandmother was orphaned and came from Ireland in the early 1860's to live with her mother's sister who ran a boarding house on Case Avenue. I would love to find out the name of that aunt as it might give me a clue about my great-great-grandmother's maiden name if that aunt was unmarried. Thanks! Ceal
