    1. St. Patrick Anniversary
    2. Does anyone on the list have the particulars re: August 10 celebration of St. Patrick Bridge Ave. Anniversary? My husband and I would like to attend. Heard about it through the "grapevine" but no definite information. We both had strong links to the parish in its early years especially. Per oral history my husband's grandparents were the first couple married in the church after the fire (1878) John and Anna (nee CLARKE) CLEARY from County Wexford. They lived at 1863 W 48th, raising their children there. My parents last home in the parish was at 1848 W. 47 St. My Gran Mary Ellen (nee MCFADDEN) FRIEL moved in 1947 after the neighborhood began a post WW II decline and my grandfather Tony had died. My parents were married therein 1935 and I was baptized. Dad worked the BINGO game in the late 1930 and early 1940s. Both our extended families worshiped, attended school, were married and most incidences were buried. I am sure many list members have the same history from their parents etc. Mary Ellen Chambers Lakewood OHio
