looking for information on James A Smith born in 1846 in Ireland and died 21 Sep 1890 in Cleveland. on 27 May 1872 he married Margaret Cunningham. She was born in Ireland on 17 May 1851 and died in Columbus (franklin Co) on 10 April 1936 Both are buried in Cleveland (James A at St Joseph's Cemetary... Margaret Cunningham may be at the same location) they apparently had 9 children... one of which was Rose C. Smith (my grandmother) who married Clarence E. Harding of Akron and later moved to Columbus (and her mother came to live with her when she was widowed, raised her children while she went to work) all that said... I think that James A and Margaret Cunningham each migrated from Ireland via Canada to get to Cleveland ...but heaven knows I can't prove anything... really would appreciate any information you all might be able to give me about these two -- and/or sources I could go to to find more...
