I think Sarah was born about 1844 in OH. She married OBEDIAH SMITH and they had 3 children : WILLIAM ELMER SMITH , born 1864, died 1922 in St. Petersburg, FL; EARL A. SMITH, born 1869 in MI; and GRACE, born about 1875 in MI.. She married KLONTOVOR I appreciate any help. Is there any way of finding parents of Obediah or Sarah ? Pat McDonald pmcdonald@apptechnc.net
Pat, Do you know when and where they were married? This may be the area where both of their families were about that same time. The 1850 census includes all names now as I understand it at Ancestry.com. You could ask for a lookup for Sarah Swinehart, b abt. 1844 in OH, parents b PA, possible sister named Katie b 1839 OH.
