    2. Linda and Jennifer, I think you are talking about the same Madison Township. Daniel and Moses lived in Highland County, Madison Township, outside of the village of Greenfield. The others lived in Highland County, Madison Township also, but inside the Town limits of Greenfield. Harold in Florida **************Biggest Grammy Award surprises of all time on AOL Music. 3. Thank you so much Harold and Jennifer for your input on the above subject. I need all the help I can get on these ANDERSONS! After much research, I've come to the conclusion that there were two, perhaps three, apparently unrelated ANDERSON families living in Highland Co., OH on the 1850 Highland Co., OH census: Benjamin ANDERSON, b. abt. 1794, Goochland Co., VA. This man apparently brought his family from Cleremont Co., OH to Highland Co. after 1823. m. (1) Nancy WRIGHT, (2) Rhoda DIMMITT Children: Moses, Daniel Duckwall, Ezekiel, Rachel, Benjamin, Hannah, Lucinda, Louisa, James, and possibly more. James ANDERSON, b. 1763, Chester Co., PA., a Revolutionary soldier who married Rachel HOPKINS in 1801 in Montgomery Co., MD, and brought his family to Highland Co. around 1820. His pension application states that they had twelve children, but the only ones documented are sons Philip (b. 1804) and James, Jr.(b. abt. 1808). T. B. ANDERSON, b. 1800, VA., m. Maria __? Children: James H., Samuel T., Nancy, maybe more. Henry ANDERSON, b. 1791, VA., m. Arcada __? Children: Catherine, Phoebe, and probably more. William P. ANDERSON, b. 1792, VA. m. Rebecca __? Children: Anna, Richard, George, Thomas, Jane, Betsy, Sarah, Lewis, maybe more. (The above three men might be brothers to Benjamin, as they were all born in VA.) John ANDERSON, age 58, b. 1792, PA.; m. Sarah BROOKS, dau. of Benjamin and Nancy BROOKS of Highland Co., OH. Children: John H., William W., and probably more. James ANDERSON, age 59, b. 1791, PA.; m. abt. 1819, Margaret BROOKS. Children: William, Samuel, Sarah (m. Robt. WORTHINGTON), Andrew Jackson. Are the above two men brothers? Or is it merely coincidence that they were both born in PA within a year of eachother, and married girls with the last name of BROOKS? Is Margaret BROOKS the sister of Sarah? If anyone is connected to these families, I would like to hear from you.
