MHess, The 1850 index doesn't show any results for the GADDELL or GADDLE surname. There is also nothing showing for Sarah, Sallie or Sadie LASLEY. There's a Susana LASLEY in Gallia Co., but she's born 1849 in Ohio. I also tried a first name search for any Sarah born 1846 in VA, but didn't get any results for a name that resembled LASLEY or GADDELL/GADDLE.
