    3. I would like to request a look-up for John Eckert, b ca 1839, would be 10 or 11 at time of census, born Switzerland. The family is said to have arrived in Tuscarawas Co ca 1842 and he was married there in 1858, but he may have been in a neighboring county in 1850. Hoping to find him living with his parents to firm up family relationships. Presumed to have had a sister, Mary, b. ca 1842...about 7 or 8 in 1850. Family moved to Illinois 'during the war', so should be somewhere in Ohio in 1850. John later reports both parents as having been born in Switzerland as well. Name could be spelled numerous ways. Thank you so much for your effort. Merri
