Post all lookup requests to the list. 2. DO NOT post more than ONE or TWO lookup requests a day. 3. Please include as much of the following information that you can when sending a request: a. Census year you want researched b. First name, middle name or initial, SURNAME c. Age at time of census ~OR~ Year of birth d. Birthplace (state or country) e. Spouse's name, age and birthplace f. Names and ages of any known children g. Parent's names, ages & birthplace if looking for a child. h. County of residence 4. Please type your subject line this way: YEAR / County / SURNAME Example: 1860 / Brown Co / JONES 5. If you don't know the county type this: Example: 1850 / Unknown / BROWN 6. DO NOT post any general requests such as " please send me a list of all Smiths in the state of Ohio", or "please send a list of all JONES families in Adams County in 1860". 7. DO NOT send a lookup request for more than 1 or 2 people in an e-mail. Your request will be ignored. 8. Please, request ONE census year for each e-mail. NO requests for John & Mary Smith from 1850 to 1910. Once again, your request will be ignored.
