Hello. Searching for any and all help on Richard MORRISON family. Know he married twice. Know first wife and children. But know nil on second wife. Thank you. Viola.
Hi Viola, Can you give us a time frame-it makes a huge difference if we are looking for 1850, 1900 or 1930 for example. The best way to start is to pick the one census year that you feel would be the most likely to find them in and then either go forward or backward. It would also be helpful if you can give us a year of birth and state of birth for Richard and any others you think would be in the household. The 1850, 1860, 1870, 1880 and 1930 through Ancestry are everyname indexes with the 1930 being the last census year we have available to us at this time. 1850 is the first census year with all people in the household listed. Prior to that it was only the head of household and then by male/female age groupings. Let us know what census year you want to start with and a little more info on Richard and family so we can help you find your family.
