I am new to this so I hope this is right. I am researching the Makeever name and have hit a snag. The lost census records of 1890 due to the fire. Problem is my gf Seth Makeever bn Apr 1886. Seems his father died between 1880 and 1900. His mother was Catherine, she was born Sept,1849 and was 50 in 1890. seth was 14. They lived in Ohio, Morrow cty, Canaan twp. There were more than one group that came to this area from Pennsylvania so I am not sure who the husband was as in this 20 year window some went south to florida and west to Indiana and Illinois. Any help or suggestions will be appreciated. Seems I have the Newbie fever. Have a great day and a better morrow, Jim Makeever
