Soundex Codes: Fanin, Fannin, Fannon -- F550 and Fanning -- F552 FANNIN (Common variant spellings have been Fannon, Fanning, Fannen, and Fannan) These names were checked on an Ancestry.com search years ago and Silas Fannin was not found. However, please check what you can. I presume Ancestry.com has added more in recent years. I know that Silas Fannin was alive and performed a marriage in 1887 in Wayne County, WV.
