She was born in Michigan in 1906, making her about 23-24 years old in 1930. Both of her parents were born in Michigan, too. In a 1935 obit, she is referred to as "Mrs John CARROLL", and in her 1940 Wood Co. marriage, to Harold FRANKS, her prior married name is given as CAROLL (one "r"). Her maiden name is HOLMES.
