Kim, Do you have all the census info. on both families? Sometimes the information included in the biographies 100 years ago are not always accurate I have found. By the census, it looks like Amy was a daughter of Reason Whitacre, brother to Isaac. But, since this is your family line and not mine, you may know why it appears this way. Hope this helps.
