    3. Marilyn , I have no idea when Herman Kahl came to America. I have no information on other information on him in that he married a Widow Anna maria "Mary " Deinzer (Denzer, Denger) in 1868. I have tried to locate him in 1860,1880 census but no luck. Another spelling might have been Kale. Thanks for trying.
