I'm thinking that the earlier e-mail I sent with an Anelia BLATNIK from death records is probably her in 1914. Obviously from info they provided they were not here in 1900. Have you checked the records from www.ellisisland.org for their immigration, if that's where they came through at. Most of my ancestors names were mispelled during the census. I have a Vlasic, whom I found as Chlosick, a Skonieczny found as Konecky, etc, etc, etc. Actually very few were spelled correctly. So don't be concerned about the mispelling. I haven't had any luck in 1920 for Louis or Amalia. Have you checked out www.ohiohistory.org ? There is an on-line index for 1913 thru 1937 and there is an Analia BLATNIK who died on March 8, 1914. Remember with the first name, it is transcribed as seen, it could very possibly be Amalia. Karen
Hi Renee, I am not able to find your family in 1900. I have searched by Ruth, R, V, Virginia, and various forms of Van Ness, Vanness. I found what may be the same family in 1880. May I please have a lookup for this Bennett found in indexing. I hope this is the right one. I know he was still living in 1930, so will give it a try. I know him as Isaiah Albert Bennett, b 1851, Canada, parents b England. Indexed at Ancestry.com as: Isiaha Bennett, 78, CANADA in Hamilton Co. wife is Josephine, 63, b 1867 OH. Residence at the time of death (1933) was at 1203 London St., Cincinnati, OH. Thank you for a second try on this one. Diana
Thanks Arizona Jack. It was either this one or another one that I'll post separately. I'm pretty sure it wasn't this Albert. Looks like he's indexed by his other name, so will try that one. Karen, thank you very much. I think this is them. Thanks for the image. The spelling "Blodnick" is the only question mark. The grand daughter says the spelling is "Blatnik". Could the name have been misspelled, mispronounced, misinterpreted, or something like that. Yes maybe 1920 will have something. I would have thought the Library would show when she died. Could someone check the census image for me for Ruth Haines, born Eng 1819. She is in Trumbull with her daughter and son in law, Paul Biddleston in 1900. I have the details, except the state of her children, how many etc. I need to know as she is now 81 and it would be a great help to find out if I have them all or not. Thanks very much Best Wishes from Linda.
I have a difficult time getting people straight that have the same first names in more than 1 generation SO may I tell you what I know from a family Bible and then - what I think I understand from CENSUS ? ALDEN SNOW - born - April 22, 1832 in OH; died Sept 16, 1892 - married Nov. 16, 1854 to HENRIETTA BUNN - born Jan 12, 1837 in NJ. ALDEN also married MARY JANE LECHLITER. CENSUS information : ALDEN ( maybe OWEN), shoemaker, born 1800 in VT, married Matilda J. ___, born 1803 in MD. Any more info for RUTH Snow ? I have the census sheets for 1870 = 1st and 4th Ward, Mt.Vernon. Thank you VERY much!! Patricia CARR McDOnald pmcdonald@acun.com

Bev have you found the MOREY family on any census? Diana has done such a thorough job searching OH that its not likely they were in OH unless the Census Taker missed them. Have you tried PA? World Connect lists Anna Lenore BUTTON (1879) m/2 John MOREY their children Willis, John, Mary & Anthony but no places or dates with the exception of Anna Lenore MOREY which it says died 1949 and is buried in Wellsboro PA next to her Father. If you have no other starting point you might want to investigate that. Beverlee ----- Original Message ----- From: "D.
